I'm Martin Vale. For 25 years I worked in estate documentation — closing estates, organizing what people left behind, helping families navigate the financial aftermath of losing someone. I've been in a lot of houses. I've opened a lot of drawers.

What I found, over and over, wasn't chaos. It was silence. People who loved each other, who meant well, who simply never found the right time to talk about money. And then ran out of time entirely.
